  • Bug: VfR reset lights during working per Rhino Render|Enscape

    Hi,

I'm working on a large interior space at Rhino 6. The render engine is set to "Rhino" and I use the Enscape output. In the background it's installed the latest VfR3.6. I run in the issue, that the intensity of lights of different groups are changed without I touched them. It looks like there is an internal connection. I suppose so it is caused by the VfR light grouping/copying behavior. (I don't know so much about it since I don't used VfR3.6 in the last months.) I edit the lights on the second floor and later I see that the lights of the first floor shows the wrong light intensity. I adjust the lights on the first floor and later the lights of the second floor are using the intensity too. .... Please check this issue. For now I disabled VfR at the Rhino 6 plugins.

    Hi Micha,

I did some testing and can't reproduce the described behavior on my system.
Once you select a different Current Renderer instanced light links disappear and all lights become unique.
Can you list exact steps to reproduce the issue?

      Hi Konstantin,

      here an example file. Step-by-setp:

      * disable the Vray plugin and restart Rhino
      * open the example file and look at the red point light - it has a green light color
      * now load the Vray plugin
      * check the current render is "Rhino"
      * now open the example file again
      * during the load the lights are changed by Vray and the red point light shows a orange light color now
